Bold Series

Bold is beautiful, especially when it’s large faceted rocks, gems, stones and other natural elements.

This series is inspired by my many beach walks and mountain hikes on which I see natural colors, textures, and the play of light on objects. My walks make me want to capture the beauty and uniqueness of nature. Most of the pieces in this series are made with large natural stones strung as single strands. This allows me to capture the inherent beauty of the stones and gems. Complimentary beads are then used to emphasize the main stone’s attributes without detracting from them.

Most of the pieces in this series are heavier than normal since they’re made with large natural stone beads. If you have neck or upper back problems, you may want to choose lighter weight necklaces so as not to strain your neck. All heavier than normal necklaces are denoted by “Heavy Weight.”
