Sea Series

Since I began walking the beaches around where I live, work and travel, I’ve been inspired by the treasures just waiting to be discovered. Each new beach find inspires me to forge ahead in anticipation of the next “treasure” to by found.

My Sea Series is inspired by three aspects of water; sea colors, water motifs, and natural elements that are created in fresh and salt water. Sea colors that I utilize are the cool tones of; teal, blue, aqua, green, emerald, cobalt, peridot and dusky purple and mauve. Many of my pieces are also inspired by water motifs, including, fish, sea shells, and aquatic plant life. In addition, some pieces contain sea creations, such as pearls, shells, and sea glass.

As yet, my sea glass creations have not been fruitful. However, I continue to experiment, and hope to some day have a complete line of sea glass jewelry. Please keep visiting my site for updates to my Sea Series made with real sea glass.
